Trifold Design

This trifold explores using typography as the main design element to create a visually engaging and organized layout that effectively communicates information.

The Challenge

The goal for this project was to design a trifold brochure where typography leads the entire layout, thus organizing information and creating visual interest without relying heavily on images or decorative elements.

The Concept

I aimed to use type as the main design element to guide the viewer through the piece, emphasizing hierarchy, spacing, and leading to make the content clear and engaging. The typography itself becomes the visual focus, balancing aesthetics with function.

Process & Execution

The cover panel features engaging typography with breaking lines that visually lead the viewer’s eye toward both the inside and outside panels, creating an interactive flow. The outside panels maintain a clean, cohesive look that complements the cover while providing key information. Inside panels are arranged to guide the reader smoothly through the content, using typographic hierarchy and spacing to enhance readability and engagement. This project highlights how thoughtful typographic choices can shape an entire layout and communicate effectively.
